The S-ATA Cable
Your system comes equipped with two S-ATA cables.
Both connectors go either to a hard disk drive or to the motherboard.

Note:
The color of the S-ATA cable may differ from the color
of the cable shown in the picture.
The SCSI Cable
Depending on your configuration, your system may come with a SCSI interface cable.
The connectors are used as follows:
■
one connector plugs into the SCSI adapter card,
■
one or several connectors plug into the hard disk drives (if applicable),
■
one connector plugs into the tape device (if applicable),
■
the last connector is a terminator (mandatory).
The SCSI interface cable is Ultra/320 compliant, meaning that it can transfer data at the
maximum speed of 320MB/s. The connectors are of the 68-pin type, and can only be
fitted one way.
