1. Installing Internal Optional Devices

Express5800/R110h-1 User’s Guide

Chapter 2 Preparations

Using optional RAID controller for a 3.5-inch drive model

•

Prepare the optional SAS/SATA cable K410-345(00).

•

Connect the 0 to 3 connectors of the K410-345(00) to the SATA0 to SATA3 connectors on the backplane,

respectively.

•

While matching the pin 1 (indicated by the triangle

) of the S1 and the pin 1 (indicated by the bold line) of

the SGPIO1, connect the S1 connector of the K410-240(00) to the SGPIO1 connector on the backplane.

•

Connect the miniSASHD connector of the K410-345(00) to the connectors for ports 0-3 on the optional

RAID controller.
