Chapter 2 Preparations
(1) Installation
Mount the server to a rack in the following procedure.
•
Preparation for mounting
Remove the tape that attached slide rails before mounting it to the rack.
•
Removing outer rails
Remove the slide rails from left and right

slowly slide it backward.
After removing the outer rail, only the

inner rail is screwed to the server.
Important Be careful to prevent your fingers being caught by the rail.
