Disassembly and Reassembly

Reinstall all parts removed.

Power on the server and start SETUP to select menus [Main]

→

[Processor Settings]

→

[Processor Retest]

→

[Enabled] (see Chapter 3).

Execute the system diagnostic program and verify its result as described in installation
procedure.

Verify that POST displays no error messages.

If POST displays an error message, take note of the message and see the POST error
messages listed in Chapter 6.

Start SETUP and select [Main]

→

[Processor Settings]

→

[Processor Retest]

→

[Enabled] to clear error information of removed CPU (see Chapter 3).

When you replaced a CPU, select [Main]

→

[Processor Setting] to verify that the ID and

L2Cache of the additional CPU are defined normally (see Chapter 3).

12.

Select "Yes" for [Main]

→

[Processor Settings]

→

[Processor Retest].

This setting is required to change the hardware configuration data. See Chapter 3 for
details.
