9. Disconnect SAS cable from SAS connector on
motherboard, and connect that cable to
PORT(0-3) connector on RAID Controller.
For N8103-168, the location of connector
PORT(0-3) differs from that of
N8103-172/173/174, thus the longer cable
length is required. Extend the excess length
portion before connecting the cable. See the
figure below for excess length portion.
Remove the fan duct before extending the excess length
portion. Lift the fan duct while pushing it toward the
direction indicated by an arrow.
Use only one cable for connecting to PORT(0-3)
FBU cable
SAS cable
Port0-3 connector
Left server module
Fan duct
Right server module
Remove the cable tie to extend
the excess length portion, and
fasten it again with cable tie.
