1. Installing Internal Optional Devices

Express5800/E120e-M User's Guide

Chapter 2 Preparations

8. Route the battery cable of right server module under the cooling sponge and the power cable, and fix it,

as shown in the figure below.

Important The cooling sponge is made of soft material, and easy to break by excess force.

Do not lift the end of sponge forcedly to expand it when disconnecting the cable.

9. Align the black marker on battery control cable with that on connector of RAID Controller, and connect

the control cable of extra battery to RAID Controller.

10. .Mount the fan duct.

Firmly mount the fan duct so that it would not come up.

Removal

For removing the battery for the RAID Controller, reverse the installation procedure.
