Chatpter 3 Setup

Turning on the Server

1.1

AC ON of server

The AC power to this server is turned on when the AC cables are connected to the power plugs on the rear of

the server.

Turn on the DC power to server modules by using the following procedure.

Tips

When turning on and off the server by inserting and removing AC cables, wait at

least 30 seconds to insert the AC cables after the AC cables are removed.

Check that the power LED is turned off before connecting the AC cables.

Connect AC cables to the three power supply modules.

Connect the AC cable.
