19.7.8.
Fasten all handrails together using through-bolts for straight connections or corner support
brackets for corner connections.
19.7.9.
Connect straight connections using through bolts, washers and acorn nuts:

¼"-20 x 4.5" bolt for Ramp-onto-Ramp or Platform-onto-Ramp connections
ƒ
¼"-20 x 5.0" bolt for Ramp-onto-Platform connections
ƒ
¼"-20 x 5.5" bolt for Platform-onto-Platform connections
19.7.10.
Connect all corners using the corner support bracket.
ƒ
After confirming handrails are plumb, line the corner support bracket with the top rail
and fasten using two (2) ¼"-14 x 1" drilling screws.
ƒ
Install two (2) ¼" – 14 x 1" pan head drilling screws to secure the switchback bracket to
the platform.
19.7.11.
Once all handrails connections have been made, fully tighten all leg and handrail nuts.
19.7.12.
Inspect the entire ramp installation.
