Using the Reset Button
The MON-10467 has a physical reset button that you can use to delete the stored password and
gateway bonding information from the device. On the MON-10467 (BATTERY), the reset
button can also be used to restart the device. You can restart the MON-10467 (AC) and
MON-10467 (DC) by cycling power to the device. If you restart the device, the password and
gateway bonding information will be retained. If you delete the stored password and gateway
bonding information, the device will reset to the default password. Only delete the stored
password and gateway bonding information if the device password has been lost. See the
information below for how use the reset button to restart the device or delete the stored
password and gateway bonding information.

Using the Reset Button on the MON-10467 (AC)
Caution
Disconnect external power to the MON-10467 (AC) and use the external
circuit breaker box to completely remove mains power before opening the device for
service.

Notice
To use the reset button on the MON-10467 (AC), you must use a DC power
source (19 V DC to 30 V DC).
To restart the device, cycle power to the device.
To delete the stored password and gateway bonding information from the device, complete the
following steps.
1.
Turn off external power to and completely remove power from the device.
2.
Loosen the four captive screws on the door of the device with a 1/4 in. socket or 6 mm
(1/4 in.) flat-blade screwdriver.
3.
Open the door of the device slowly.
4.
Connect the device to a powered-off DC power source (19 V DC to 30 V DC).
5.
Press and hold the reset button.
6.
Turn on the DC power source while holding the reset button.
7.
Release the reset button.
8.
Disconnect the device from the DC power source.
9.
Clean the gasket and gasket mating surface with a dry or damp cloth.
