17. Replace the removed filler panels and monitor if necessary.
18. Screw in the four filler panel screws on each filler panel using the #2 Phillips screwdriver.
19. Sit the left panel back into the test rack.
20. Turn the four quarter-turn locks on the right panel of the test rack using the flathead screwdriver.
Replacing the PXI Chassis
(ECUTS-16000) Replacing the PXI Chassis
Equipment

#2 Phillips screwdriver
1.
Power off the ECUTS-16000.
2.
Open the rear cabinet.
3.
Pull the spring pin attached to the inside hinge of the rear cabinet door down until it detaches from the test rack.
4.
Tilt and remove the rear cabinet door from the test rack.
5.
Remove the ground screw from the PXI chassis using the #2 Phillips screwdriver.
6.
Remove the rear PXI chassis feet brackets using the #2 Phillips screwdriver.
7.
While supporting the PXI chassis, carefully slide the PXI chassis out of the rear of the ECUTS-16000.
8.
While supporting the PXI chassis, carefully slide the replacement PXI chassis back into the rear of the ECUTS-16000.
9.
Replace the rear PXI chassis feet brackets using the #2 Phillips screwdriver.
10. Replace the ground screw to the PXI chassis using the #2 Phillips screwdriver.
11. Tilt and sit the rear cabinet door back in the test rack.
12. Pull the spring pin attached to the inside hinge of the rear cabinet down and secure the pin back to the test rack.
13. Close the rear cabinet door.
(ECUTS-16001) Replacing the PXI Chassis
Equipment

#2 Phillips screwdriver
•
Flathead screwdriver
1.
Power off the ECUTS-16001.
2.
Disconnect all PXI instrument IO from the PXI chassis.

3.
Open the rear cabinet door.
4.
Turn the four quarter-turn locks on each side panel of the test rack using the flathead screwdriver.
5.
Pull the spring pin attached to the inside hinge of the rear cabinet door down until it detaches from the test rack.
6.
Tilt and remove the rear cabinet door from the test rack.
7.
Remove the ground screw from the PXI chassis using the #2 Phillips screwdriver.
8.
Remove the AC power cord from the PXI chassis.
9.
Remove the locking screws on the side of both forward rack mount brackets of the PXI chassis using the #2 Phillips screwdriver.
10. Unscrew the rear PXI chassis rack mount brackets from the rear rail of the test rack using the #2 Phillips screwdriver.
11. While supporting the PXI chassis, carefully slide the PXI chassis out of the rear of the ECUTS-16001.
12. Remove the four rack mount brackets from the PXI chassis by unscrewing 16 screws using the #2 Phillips screwdriver.
13. Remove the feet and handle from the replacement PXI chassis using the flathead screwdriver and #2 Phillips screwdriver.
14. Replace the rack mount brackets on the new PXI chassis.
15. While supporting the PXI chassis, carefully slide the replacement PXI chassis back into the rear of the ECUTS-16001.
16. Attach the rear PXI chassis rack mount brackets to the cabinet using the #2 Phillips screwdriver.
17. Attach the locking screws to the sides of the front rack mount panels using the #2 Phillips screwdriver.
18. Replace the ground screw to the PXI chassis using the #2 Phillips screwdriver.
19. Replace the AC power cable to the PXI chassis.
20. Tilt and sit the rear cabinet door back in the test rack.
21. Pull the spring pin attached to the inside hinge of the rear cabinet down and secure the pin back to the test rack.
22. Close the rear cabinet door.
