30. Configure the static IP address.
a)
Press the REM button on the front panel of the power supply and wait for
IntF
to appear on the voltage encoder.
b)
Press the voltage encoder.
c)
Turn the current encoder until
LAn
appears.
d)
Press the current encoder.
e)
Press the REM button.
f)
Turn the voltage encoder until
IP
appears on the voltage display.
g)
Press the voltage encoder.
h)
Turn the voltage encoder to view the IP address.
Note
The voltage display will show IP1-IP4, where IP1 refers to the first section of the IP address. The current display
shows the required IP address.
i)
Turn the current encoder to change the IP address.
j)
Press the current encoder to select the IP address.
k)
Repeat steps
through j for each IP address.
Note
Order the power supply IP address from left to right and bottom to top. Refer to
page 6 for more information on the assigned IP addresses for RMX power supplies.
31. Add the power supply to NI MAX.
a)
Sign in the ECUTS-16000.
b)
Launch NI MAX and navigate to

Right-click

in the dialog box.

Select the RMX power supply automatically detected by NI MAX.

Click on the RMX power supply under

to show its configuration pane.

to match the final number in the IP address of the RMX power supplies in the ECUTS-16000. For

(ECUTS-16001) Replacing RMX Power Supplies
Equipment

#2 Phillips screwdriver
•
Flathead screwdriver
1.
Power off the ECUTS-16001.
2.
Remove the two 3U filler panels beneath the mass interconnect (U6-U11) by removing their mounting screws and pulling them off of the
system.
3.
Remove the filler panels above the mass interconnect.
4.
Using the flathead screwdriver, turn the four quarter-turn locks on each side panel of the test rack.
5.
Remove each side panel of the test rack.
6.
Turn off the power switch on the front of each of the RMX power supplies.
7.
Disconnect the power ring terminal connectors from the rear of the RMX power supplies.
8.
Disconnect the sense connector from the rear of the RMX power supplies.
9.
Disconnect the interlock connector from the rear of the RMX power supplies.
10. Disconnect the ethernet jack from the rear of the RMX power supplies.
11. Disconnect the AC power cable from the rear of RMX power supplies.
12. Remove the four screws securing the RMX power supply tray to the test rack using the #2 Phillips screwdriver.
13. Slide the RMX power supply tray out of the left side of the test rack.
14. Remove the three screws securing the RMX power supply to the tray using the #2 Phillips screwdriver.
15. Screw in the three screws on the tray to the replacement RMX power supply using the #2 Phillips screwdriver.
16. Slide the RMX power supply tray back into the left side of the test rack.
17. Screw in the four screws holding the RMX power supply to the test rack using the #2 Phillips screwdriver.
18. Connect the AC power cable to the RMX power supplies.
19. Connect the ethernet jack from the rear of RMX power supplies.
20. Connect the interlock connector from the rear of RMX power supplies.
21. Connect the sense connector from the rear of RMX power supplies.
22. Connect the power ting terminal connectors to the rear of the RMX power supplies.
23. Turn on the power switch on the front of all the RMX power supply.
24. Replace the filler panels beneath the mass interconnect in U6-U11 and screw them in using the #2 Phillips screwdriver.
