Digital Analyzer Maintenance
Several tasks can be accomplished using the Maintenance Menu on the Digital Analyzer:
To access the Maintenance Menu, press
maintenance on the Main Menu (Figure 141).
The Maintenance Menu will appear (Figure 142). The
following options are available from the Maintenance
menu:
•
Set the date and time on the
system clock, configure email settings, and set
the FTPS password.
•
Update the Digital Analyzer’s system
software when a new release occurs, view the
current software version information, and
restart the system in troubleshooting situations.
•
Download log files for remote
analysis by NanoString Support.
•
Edit the current user’s profile. (This
task will not appear if a user is not logged in.)
•
View a summary of the current
instrument configuration, including
administration settings, software version,
instrument name, date and time, IP address, and
MAC address.
•
View the capacity of the
instrument hard drive and delete unwanted
RLFs, CDFs, and RCC files.
•
Use this button before flipping the power switch on the back of the
instrument
.
