Shutdown System
If the system needs to be shut down, it is preferable to use the shutdown system button on the
Maintenance Menu to power off the system before using the switch on the back of the Digital
Analyzer.
Cleaning
Prep Station
After a completed run, remove all consumables and waste.
Periodically, clean the stage surface and waste receptacles of the Prep Station by wiping with a
disinfectant followed by wiping with water or 70% ethanol. Avoid the electrode fixture. An RNase
removal agent such as RNase
Zap
® from Ambion® may also be used.
Clean the exterior periodically using a diluted neutral soap followed by water.
NOTE:
If it becomes necessary to wash the touchscreen, use a damp cloth to gently wipe
the surface. Do not use excessive water or other solvents, which may damage the screen.

Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive of the European Union. The
presence of this marking on the product indicates that:
