Approximately 10 minutes after initiating the dry run, the system will display a ‘bent electrode’
error message (Figure 125). This is expected as there is no liquid in the blank cartridge. To
continue with the run, choose ignore and the Prep Station will continue running the rest of the
protocol.
NOTE:
It is recommended to stay with the Prep Station during the dry run, to correct any
issues that may occur.

When the dry run is complete, save the
discarded tips by loading them back into the tip
rack, as well as the empty plates, tubes, and tip
sheaths. These can be reused in another dry run.
7.
Proceed with your experimental run as planned.
If you encounter any issues with the dry run,
please reboot the instrument and attempt a
second dry run. If the second dry run does not
complete, please download the Prep Station log
files and contact
create a support ticket and for guidance on how
to submit the log files.
