5.1.5.1 Media Set menu (Roll)
When using the roll media, select the media detection method from the following table.
5.1.5.2 Media Set menu (Cut sheet)
When using the cut sheet media, select the media detection method from the following table.
NOTE
• If the settings of Media Set or Media Set (Roll / Cut sheet) menu was changed after completing the
media detection, raise and lower the pressurizing lever once more to perform the media detection
again.
Setup item Setting Description
Init. Off The media is not detected.
Top&Width Detect the media width and edge while initializing the media.
<Width> Detect the media width while initializing the media.
— • [Enter] key: saves the setting and shifts to the previous
menu.
• [Cancel] key: cancels the setting and shifts to the previous
menu.

Setup item Setting Description
Init. <Auto> Automatically detects four corners of the media.
Vertical Set when using the cut sheet media in portrait direction.
Horizontal Set when using the cut sheet media in landscape direction.
