5.9.1 [Sweep Time Auto Man]
Sets the time interval for the analyzer to complete a sweep.
• In non-zero span, the analyzer uses the shortest sweep time on the basis of the current RBW and VBW settings if Auto is
selected.
•
You can modify this parameter using the numeric keys, knob, or direction keys.
5.9.2 [Sweep Mode Fast ACCY]
Set the sweep mode of the spectrum analyzer to fast sweep or precise sweep.
• When Fast is selected, the spectrum analyzer will complete a sweep faster within the span range.
• When ACCY is selected, the spectrum analyzer will accurately complete a sweep within the span.
5.9.3 [Sweep Single]
Press [Single Sweep] to set the sweep mode to Single. Press [Single Scan] to restart the scan when the next trigger signal
arrives. Allows you to set continuous scan mode.
5.9.4 [Sweep Cont]
Press [Continuous Scan] to activate the sweep scan mode.
5.10 [Trig]
Sets the trigger type and other associated parameters, menu includes [Auto Run] , [Video], [External ►].
5.10.1 [Auto Run]
Set the trigger mode to the free trigger mode so that the scan trigger is as fast as possible with the spectrum analyzer. It
meets the trigger conditions at any time, that is, continue to generate a trigger signal.
5.10.2 [Video]
This indicates a trigger signal will be generated when the system detects a video signal in which the voltage exceeds the
specified video trigger level.
5.10.3 [External ►]
In this mode, an external signal (TTL signal) is input from the [Trigger In] connector at the rear panel, its edge conditions
should meet with the user settings to generate trigger signals.
Press [External ►] to enter the submenu, and select [Positive Edge] or [Negative Edge] as the trigger condition.
5.11 [TG]
When the Source is turned on, an independent signal or a signal with the same frequency of the current sweep signal will be
output from the GEN OUTPUT 50Ω terminal on the front panel. Press the key will pop out related menu includes
[Track Gen On Off], [Output Level], [Network Meas►]. The source is turned off in the power-on and reset states.
5.11.1 [Track Gen On Off]
Select the tracking generator to be on or off.
5.11.2 [Output Level]
Set the output power of CW or TG source.
5.11.3 [Network Meas►]
When the source is “TG”, tracking source network measurement function is available, mainly for amplitude and frequency
characteristics measurement; RF output and spectrum measurement is fully synchronized, can be used as a scalar network
analyzer. When the network measurement function is “on”, the measurement results show relative values after “normalized”,
expressed in “dB”. When the network measurement function is “off”, the measurement shows the spectrum measurement
result, expressed in “dBm”.
