Removing injector

Note:

Always replace the first and last injectors of

one engine side first. Replace the inner in‐

jectors only after the installation of the outer

injectors on this engine side is completed.

1.

Undo cable terminal screws (arrow) on in‐

jector and remove cable terminals.

2.

Remove screw (2) and take off hold-down

clamp (1).

3.

Remove high-pressure fuel line (5).

4.

Install installation/removal device on cylin‐

der head.

5.

Remove injector with installation/removal

device.

6.

Remove installation/removal device.
