6.3.3 Spark plug connector – Removal and installation

Preconditions

☑ Engine is stopped and starting disabled.
☑ Open protective packing of new spark plug connector only immediately prior to installation.

Removing spark plug connector

1.

Remove protective cap (3) from ignition coil

(1).

2.

Remove screw (2), take off spring washer.

3.

Remove screws (5) and tab washer (7)

from cylinder head cover.

4.

Remove spark plug connector (6) with igni‐

tion cable (4) from spark plug.

5.

Remove sealing ring from Teflon sleeve of

ignition line.
