•
Where a manually adjustable rope lanyard or a retractable type fall arrester is used, the manufacturer
for any such device shall be consulted for its suitability and conformity. Manufacturers of these
devices shall also be consulted as to their suitability for horizontal use; including over edge falls, as
not all types are acceptable.
•
The Anchor device shall not be used with retractable type fall arresters unless the combination has
been tested together.
•
If the incorrect length of energy absorbing lanyard is used, the user may hit the ground in the event
of a fall.
•
Connect to the line system using a suitable TransFastener. Refer to Latchways® Horizontal Lifeline
MAPs technical datasheet (85000_98) for further information on suitability of different connectors
and refer to Latchways® Horizontal Lifeline MAPs User instructions (85000_96) for how to connect
to the line system.
•
Connect to the single point anchor using an energy absorbing lanyard and a suitable connector.
•
If there are concerns that the Free Standing CFp has been used to arrest a fall, or a fall takes place the
equipment MUST be withdrawn from use immediately.
•

cas de chute.
•
Réalisez la connexion avec le système de ligne en utilisant un TransFastener adapté. Consultez la fiche
technique des MAP à ligne de vie horizontale Latchways® (85000_98) pour de plus amples informations
concernant l’adéquation des différents connecteurs, ainsi que les instructions d’utilisation des MAP à ligne
de vie horizontale Latchways® (85000_96) pour savoir comment établir la connexion avec le système de
ligne.
•
Réalisez la connexion avec l’ancrage à point unique en utilisant une longe à absorption d’énergie et un
connecteur adapté.
•
S’il est possible que le potelet CF autoportant ait été utilisé pour arrêter une chute ou en cas de chute,
l’équipement DOIT immédiatement être mis hors service.
•
