2.4.5 Charing Using the Five Slot Charge Only Cradle
Insert the MC40 into a slot to begin charging.
The Right LED indicates the status of the battery charging in the MC40. See
Table 1-1 Battery Charge LED Status
for charging status indications. The 2680 mAh battery charges in approximately four hours.
Charge batteries in ambient temperatures from 0 °C to 40 °C (32 °F to 104 °F) or up to 45 °C (113 °F) as reported

Battery Information
. Charging is
intelligently controlled by the MC40. To accomplish this, for small periods of time, the charger alternately enables
and disables battery charging to keep the battery at acceptable temperatures. The charger indicates when charging is
disabled due to abnormal temperatures via its LED.
