USING YOUR MONITOR SYSTEM
Sending commands or instructions to your system can be done through the control panel, remote control keychain,
telephone or handheld touchpad.
Note -
Your control panel is programmed with a default Master Access Code 1234 which you should change to
a code that you will remember and keep a record of in a safe place. This Master Access Code is used to disarm
the system and when you are carrying out any programming changes.
Control Panel
You can enter commands by simple key presses on the panel. Depending on how your system is programmed, you
may need to enter your access code for certain commands.
Remote Control Keychain
The keychain is handy for simple arming and disarming. They are portable and can be carried off-site in a purse,
pocket or on a key-ring.
Telephone
Touchtone telephones can be used to communicate with your system while you are away from home. This is
particularly useful if you have forgotten to arm your system before leaving home.
Remote Handheld Touchpad (available as an optional accessory)
This touchpad gives you the option to enter commands from any room in your home. You can enter commands
through simple key presses on the touchpad. A remote touchpad can be located near your main point of entry or
exit, if your control panel is less accessible.
