monitor warranty:
Your monitor WF8000 system is guaranteed for 24 months from the date the
equipment was dispatched to you. During this period and subject to our terms and
conditions, this guarantee will provide for the repair of, or at our discretion the
replacement of the WF8000 system or any system component free of charge.
Conditions:
The equipment must be returned to Scottish and Southern Energy as instructed
below, along with proof of purchase.
The fault or defect is not due to an accident, misuse, fair wear and tear, neglect,
expired batteries, the equipment being tampered with, non-compliance with the
User Guide and Quick Start Guide, use of the equipment on a voltage supply other
than the recommended voltage or any attempt at adjustment or repair other than
through our approved agents.
The fault or defect has occurred within the 24 month guarantee period.
Claims Procedure:
If you experience difficulties using this product, prior to returning the system,
please contact the monitor Customer Services team on 0845 071 1007 for
assistance.
Any claim should be made directly to Scottish and Southern Energy.
The claim should be made in a letter setting out the date of purchase and giving a
brief explanation of the problem. The letter should be sent, along with proof of
purchase and the system (or components) to monitor Customer Services, Scottish
and Southern Energy, Ty Meridian, Cardiff Gate Business Park, Cardiff,
CF23 8AU.
Please note that it is essential that the letter of claim reaches the above address
within the 24 month guarantee period. Late claims will not be considered.
We strongly advise that you retain proof of posting.
This guarantee does not confer any rights other than those set out above and does
not cover any claims for consequential loss or damage. This guarantee is offered
as an extra benefit and does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Additional copies of this guarantee can be obtained by sending a written request
to the above address, along with a self addressed stamped envelope.
