Click
Load Plate
on the StakMax interface to transfer a plate from
the StakMax instrument to the SpectraMax L reader.
6.
Press the
Drawer
button on the front of the SpectraMax L reader
to eject the plate carriage.
7.
Click
Return Plate
on the StakMax interface to return the plate
from the SpectraMax L reader to the StakMax system.
Performing a Functional Check
Perform a functional check to make sure that the StakMax instrument is
operational.
Required equipment
•
5 empty microplates (located in the accessory kit)
To perform a functional check
1.
Turn on the StakMax instrument.
2.
Open the SoftMax Pro software and then click the StakMax icon.
3.
Place 5 microplates in the input stack or the magazine.
4.
Click the
Scripting
button.
5.
Click
Open
.
6.
Highlight the
Functional Check
protocol and click
Open
.
7.
Click the
Run
button.
The first of 5 plates are loaded into the read drawer.
The drawer closes then re-opens.
The plate is picked up and placed in the output stack.
The process continues for all of the plates.
After the plates have been processed, they are moved from
the output stack and re-stacked in the input stack.
This repeats 10 times for a total of 50 plate load/unload cycles.
Note:
The plate is indexed against the A1 corner when the carriage
enters the instrument. The plate location is slightly different after the
drawer has been closed and reopened.
