After the reading starts, the status is displayed in the main
StakMax window next to
Status
. You can also click the
Status
Window
button to view more details about the reading.
Stop Read
To stop a reading
Pressing the
Stop Read
button manually stops a plate reading. This
button turns bright red after a read starts. Pressing the Stop Read button
stops and resets the stacker and the instrument. If there is a plate in the
drawer, it is returned to the output stack.The Status field displays
Read
plate session stopped
after the reading has stopped.
Note:
If you leave a plate in the reader and try to run a new plate, the
system detects that a plate is present and moves the new plate back to
the input stack. Use the Return Plate command to move the previous
plate to the output stack and then restart your run.

Note:
The amount of data that is saved depends on when the reading is
stopped. If the reading is stopped at the end of the read and the AutoSave
feature is turned on, all of the data is saved. If the read is stopped while the
stacker is still in motion and before the read has started, the data is not saved.
