Barcoding
Select the
Use Barcode
check box (see
) in the
StakMax
Settings
window to enable barcode reading. Select
Rename
to overwrite
the Plate section name with the barcode or select
Append
to add the
barcode to the Plate section name.
The following barcoding libraries are supported: Interleaved 2 of 5, Code
128, EAN 128, Code 39, Code 93, and CODABAR.
Allow Edit Prompting
If the Allow Edit Prompting feature is turned on, the software displays a
warning message each time you click
Remove
or
Remove All
in the script
editor.
If this feature is turned off, you do not receive any warnings when you
delete a script command in the script editor.
Note:
The barcoding field displays information only if your instrument is
configured with a barcode reader. Barcode readers are usually installed and
configured at the factory at the time of purchase; however, it is possible to add
a barcode reader at a later time by contacting your local representative.
Note:
When using Interleaved 2 or 5, the barcode needs to be between 6 and
48 characters.
