The MOBA GDC-320 control panel is the interface
between the operator and the layer thickness
measurement system.
Fig.5-3: Sonic-Ski plus
The Ski Plus is an ultrasonic sensor which scans the
subgrade for the layer thickness calculation (distance
measurement).
Fig.5-4: Wire rope sensor
The screed width can be measured dynamically with
the help of wire rope sensors.
Fig.5-5: Control box
The MPC is the process controller in this system. It is
used for calculations, data backup and serves as a
communication interface. It is integrated into a control
box together with the signal distribution and the MTSC
signal converter.
