PRE ALARM RECORDINGS
During alarm recording, recording starts a few seconds
before the ALARM IN terminal is grounded or motion is
detected.
For details concerning pre-alarm recording
settings,

Recording process
Pre-alarm recording:
1) Starts recording before the ALARM IN terminal is ground
or motion is detected.
2) Executes only when pre-alarm recording is set in the
<RECORD SETTING> screen or <REC MODE A> to <REC
MODE D> screen. After the input of an alarm signal, only
the cameras set in the <RECORD SETTING> screen and
<REC MODE A> to <REC MODE D> screen are used for
recording.
Pre-alarm recording and normal recording cannot
be executed simultaneously.
The pre-alarm recording time differs depending
on the recorded contents. The recording time may
also differ depending on the video contents or the
timing of the alarm signal input.

EMERGENCY RECORDING
When the EMERGENCY terminal is grounded while the
MAIN switch on the rear panel and the POWER button on
the front panel are both turned ON and during timer re-
cording, emergency recording starts automatically overrid-
ing all the other settings.
Emergency recording does not perform while the
MAIN switch or POWER button is turned OFF or
during timer recording standby mode.

Emergency recording:
1) Uses all the camera numbers set in “EMR” of the
<ALARM SETTING> screen and also set its recording
interval in “A-PPS” in the <RECORD SETTING> screen.
The recording grade is “SUPER” and the recording interval
is the minimum value available for each camera.
2) Used cameras
All the cameras of which “PPS” or “A-PPS” is set to other
than “- - - - - -.”
During timer recording, emergency recording uses all the
cameras set in the REC MODE A to REC MODE D which
is available on that time and those “PPS” or “A-PPS” is set
to other than “- - - - - -.”
3) During emergency recording
“ALM” is displayed on the screen in red.
4) Emergency recording is registered in the alarm list and
displayed in red.
