Energy Saver Mode
If the copier is shut down when it is not in use, it takes the copier a maximum of 2 minutes and 30
seconds to complete the warm-up cycle. Instead of turning the copier OFF, it’s a good idea to use
the Energy Saver mode. This mode will minimize the time it takes the copier to complete the
warm-up cycle to about 30 seconds.
Leaving the Energy Saver Mode
To allow the copier to leave the Energy
Saver mode, press any key on the control
panel, for instance, the Start Key.
This cancels the Energy Saver mode and the
copier will be ready to make copies in about
30 seconds.

Entering the Energy Saver Mode
Press the Energy Saver Key. While the
copier is in the Energy Saver mode, the
Energy Saver Key is lit with the Start Key lit
green.

automatically set the copier into the Energy
Saver mode after the lapse of a given period
of time after a copy cycle has been
completed or a key operated.
