Activating Auxiliary Toner Replenisher Mode
The high toner consumption when making large numbers of copies with
large dark areas (such as photos) can temporarily result in subsequent
copies that are too light.
In such a case, manually activate the Auxiliary Toner Replenisher Mode
to ensure consistent copying results.

Touch the User Mode box on the Control Panel.
The display will change.

Touch the [Toner Replenisher] box.
While this mode is active:

Do not turn the copier off,
m
Do not open the Front Door of
the copier.
The mode deactivates
automatically.

Activating the Drum Dehumidifier
Periods of high humidity or sudden rapid changes in humidity can cause
condensation to form on the surface of the PC Drum. This results in
unsharp copies with missing text.
In such a case, manually activate the Drum Dehumidifier to ensure
consistent copying results.

Touch the User Mode box on the Control Panel.
The display will change.

Touch the [Drum Dehumidifier] box.
Copies cannot be made while this
mode is active.
The mode deactivates
automatically.
