9. On Control Panel , double-click Services to display the Services
dialog box.
10. On the
Services
list, check to make sure that
TCP/IP Print Server
is Started .
11. If TCP/IP Print Server is not Started , select it and then click the
Startup button.

1. On the
Start
menu, point to
Settings
and then click
Network and
Dial-up Connections
.
2. Right-click the Local Area Connection icon and select Proper-
ties
from the menu. This displays the
Local Area Connection
Properties
dialog box.
If Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) is displayed in the Components
checked are used by this connection list and its check box is
checked, it means that TCP/IP is already installed and there is no
need for you to continue with the rest of this procedure.
3. Click the Install button.
4. In the list on the Select Network Component Type dialog box
that appears, select
Protocol
, and then click the
Add
button.
5. In the
Network Protocol
list on the
Select Network Protocol
dia-
log box, select
Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)
.
6. Click
OK
to close the
Select Network Protocol
and
Select Net-
work Component Type
dialog boxes.
7. In the list on the
Local Area Connection Properties
dialog box,
select
Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)
, and then click the
Properties
button.
8. Make the TCP/IP settings you want.
