3.1.2 Preventative Maintenance
The following are the preventive maintenance items for this syringe pump:

Visual inspection
Visually inspect the appearance of the syringe pump. The test is passed if the
syringe pump is not physically damaged. Follow these guidelines when inspecting
the syringe pump:
1) Whether the enclosure, LCD, and keys of the syringe pump are physically
damaged.
2) Whether the power cord is physically damaged.
3) Whether the interface of the syringe pump is loose or poorly connected.
4) Whether the safety label or the nameplate are clearly legible.

Power-on and running tests
The running test checks whether the running status of the equipment and the
parameters are normal.

Periodic test
Periodic test refers to periodic inspection and maintenance of the equipment after
the equipment is shut down.
Note: The maintenance personnel should confirm the accuracy of the pump every
year.
3.1.3 Recommended Frequency
The following tasks can only be completed by professional maintenance personnel
approved by Shenzhen Mindray Scientific Co., Ltd.. The equipment must be cleaned
and disinfected prior to testing or maintenance.

When first installed or after each repair.
Power-on test
1.When first installed.
2.After each repair, upgrade or replacement of major
accessories.
Accuracy Calibration
1.At least once every two years.
2.When you use a new syringe brand.
3.When you suspect that the infusion flow is not accurate.
4.When you disassemble the equipment to replace the
pump body.
Pressure Calibration
1.When you suspect that the pressure detection of the
syringe is not accurate
2.When you replace the related accessories of pressure
sensor.
