Danger of burning! Children's skin is far more sensitive to high
temperatures than that of adults. When grilling with or without the
microwave function, the oven interior, the grill element and the door
will get hot. Do not let children touch the microwave oven when it is
in operation.
Danger of injury! The oven door can support a maximum weight of
8 kg. Children could injure themselves on an open door. Do not let
children sit on the door, lean against it or swing on it.
Technical safety
A damaged appliance could be dangerous. Check the appliance
for visible signs of damage. Do not use the appliance if it is
damaged.
If the electrical connection cable is damaged it must only be
replaced by a Miele authorised service technician in order to prevent
a hazard.
Operating a damaged appliance can result in microwave leakage
and present a hazard to the user. Do not use the appliance if

Any contact with live connections or tampering with the electrical

the connection data on the data plate (voltage and frequency) match
the mains electricity supply. This data must correspond in order to
avoid the risk of damage to the appliance. If in doubt, consult a
qualified electrician.
