DynaCool function

When the dynamic cooling (DynaCool)
function is not turned on, the natural
circulation of air in the machine will
cause different temperature zones in
the refrigerator section, as the cold,
heavy air will sink to the lowest section
of the machine. You should bear this in
mind when placing food in the machine
(see "Storing food in the refrigerator
section").
However, if you are storing a large
amount of similar food in the refrigerator
at any one time, e.g., after your weekly
shop, it is a good idea to turn on Dyna-
Cool. This way you can distribute the
temperature on all the adjustable
shelves inside the machine more evenly
so that all the food in the refrigerator
section will be chilled to about the same
degree.
The temperature can still be set.
DynaCool should also be selected
when:
– the ambient temperature in the room
is high, i.e., above approx. 86°F
(30°C), and
– the humidity level in the room is high.
With DynaCool selected, the fan is
ready: When the compressor turns on,
the fan also turns on automatically.
Tip: As the energy consumption in-
creases when DynaCool is turned on,
you should turn it off under normal con-
ditions.
To save energy, the fan turns off auto-
matically while the door is open.
Turning a function on or off

Touch the sensor button for the func-
tion you want.
– The display LED next to the corre-
sponding symbol will light up and the
function will be turned on.
– The display LED next to the corre-
sponding symbol will go out and the
function will be turned off.
After a power failure, any function that
was previously turned on will be
turned off.
