With the aid of the following guide, minor problems can be easily corrected
without calling in a Miele service technician, saving you both time and money.
The following guide may help you to find the reason for a fault, and to correct it.
You should, however, note the following:

Repairs should only be carried out by a suitably qualified and trained
person in accordance with local and national safety regulations. Unauthorised
or incorrect repairs could cause personal injury or damage the machine.
Problem Possible cause Remedy
The machine does not
start. The door is not properly
closed. Close the door firmly.
The machine is not
connected to the
electricity supply. Connect the machine to
the electricity supply.
The fuse has tripped. Reset the fuse.
The dishwasher stops
during a programme. The fuse has tripped. Reset the fuse.
The door is not properly
closed. Close the door firmly.
A few minutes after
starting the programme,
the
p
indicator light
flashes (fault code F..E
appears in the display).
The stopcock is closed. Open the stopcock fully.
The water inlet filter is
blocked. Before rectifying the
problem you must:
– Switch off the machine
with the
Z
button.
Then:
– Clean the water inlet
filter, see "Cleaning the
water inlet filter".
The Waterproof system
has reacted. Call the Miele Service
Department.
The water pressure at the
intake is lower than 100
kPa (1 bar). Seek professional advice.
