6.2 Varnish registration procedure

6.2.1

Purpose of the registration

Warning: An Ethernet connection is mandatory to register a varnish container.

Varnish registration enables:

-

The varnish to be checked for compatibility with the equipment.

-

The validity date of each varnish in the machine to be checked in order to prevent problems at the inkjet
print heads.

This registration shall mandatorily be achieved every time a container is installed in the machine. or in
advance when long production is to be provided for.
Note: Should varnish be not registered. the machine is blocked.
Here is the registration principle for a varnish container. and the sequence to be followed:
