5.5.1.1 Server Mode Proxy
Setting the mode to Server enables the WCM unit to act as a proxy server to a group of
proxy clients attached to each of the ports. As a proxy server, the WCM unit will respond
to ARP for remote proxy IP addresses and communicate using an in band management
protocol with the client.
A client can be supported at the far end of each port of the unit, though in general, only
remote units connected via the VCG will be managed as proxy clients. The proxy client
set up menu is shown below:

5.5.1.1.1 Proxying
For each client, proxying may be either Enabled or disabled.

5.5.1.1.2 Host Interface
This is a display item only and cannot be changed. It indicates that the proxy client will
use the remote management interface.
5.5.1.1.3 DHCP
For each proxy client, DHCP may be enabled such that the IP address will be
administered automatically, otherwise it may be disabled, for manual IP address setting.
