Limiting
At each priority level, the rate limit policing may be enabled or disabled. When disabled,
ingress frames at this priority are not limited.
When rate limiting is enabled, ingress frames of this priority are limited according to the
CIR/CBS parameters.

CIR
The CIR ( Committed Information Rate ) defines the bandwidth limit to be applied. The
CIR bandwidth defines a bit rate in bits per second according to the mode configured in
the operating mode menu.
The CIR value 50000000 may be entered in several ways as shown

CBS
The CBS ( Committed Burst Size ) defines the maximum burst size for frames ingressing
at a rate in excess of the CIR. The CBS is defined in bytes.
