The translation allows for the definition of 4 levels of priority as shown. The DSCP
priorities are translated to PCP values. Whether the pcp used is odd or even is dependant
upon the port default priority, as shown
5.2.6.2 Queue Priorities
The WCM has four levels of priority queue, and these queues operate in a strict priority
manner. The queue priorities menu is shown below:

The eight levels of PCP may be allocated to the four levels of queue, by default an even
split is used, however any allocation may be used.
The only restriction to the allocation is when DSCP remapping is being used, as this will
enforce the PCP queue mapping to give four priority levels.
