5.3.6.7 Link Loss Forwarding
When equipment is connected together over a network with intermediate nodes, and fault
in the network may well not actually be seen by the end stations. Link loss forwarding is a
mechanism for propagating link faults towards an end station.
When link loss forwarding is enabled, if the selected port encounters a problem, eg Link
Down, then the port with LLF enabled will also enter the link down state.
5.3.6.8 Rate Limiting
This menu is used to control the priority based rate limiters. In practice, it is unlikely that
the VCG rate limiters will ever be enabled.

The VCG provides counters to show the packets that pass over this port as shown below:

The interface statistics are mapped onto the MIB-2 IF statistics and have the following
significance
ifInUcastPkts
This is a count of all packets received on the VCG
ifInErrors
This is a count of packets received with a checksum error
ifOutUcastPkts This is a count of all packets transmitted on the VCG
