The following table gives details of the tape and headphone
outputs:

DIGITAL Tape Out
A digital tape recorder.
Tape L, R
An analogue tape recorder or video
recorder.
Room 2 L, R
A second tape recorder or a Meridian
preamplifier in a second room.
Expansion socket *
Additional expansion output.
* The function of the expansion socket depends on the
expansion card fitted. The optional Tape card provides a
headphone output.
Control outputs
The following table gives details of the control outputs:

TRIGGER OUT 1
Other equipment. On when the 561 is
switched on but not in standby.
TRIGGER OUT 2
A TV SCART input or motorised
screen. On for S-video sources.
The trigger outputs provide 100mA at 9V. They can be
