System Link Digital Gauges (If Equipped)
Some instrumentation packages include gauges that augment the information provided by VesselView and the SmartCraft
tachometer and speedometer. The owner and operator should be familiar with all the instruments and their functions on the boat.
Because of the large variety of instrumentation and manufacturers, have your boat dealer explain the gauges and normal readings
that appear on your boat.
The following type of digital gauge may be included with your power package.

Mercury Gateway Electronic Accessory
The Mercury Gateway is an electronic accessory used to convert SmartCraft data to either NMEA2000 or J1939 data for use with
aftermarket OEM supplied display devices or CAN bus components. In SmartCraft 3.0 engine control system applications, a single
Mercury Gateway can support all of the engines.
The Mercury Gateway is typically mounted behind the dash away from view since it is only used as a gateway device and not an
actual gauge.

Electronic Helm Steering
The Electronic Helm Steering wheel assembly is an electric motor that in operation gives you the feel of a hydraulic helm.
We recommend that you steer the vessel carefully before you have explored the Zeus system's handling characteristics in an
open area without obstructions or other boat traffic. Until you are familiar with the boat's responses the first few maneuvers at
speed can be more abrupt than expected.
