To fold the right seat backrest forward: briefly
pull on right button 1 .
The right seat backrest will fold forwards.
Folding the centre rear seat backrest forwards
separately
If you no longer require the folded-down seat
backrest as a load area, fold the backrest back
into place.

Fold seat backrest 2 forwards.
▌ Folding back the rear seat backrest
* NOTE Damage caused by trapping the
seat belt when folding back the seat back-
rest
The seat belt could become trapped and thus
be damaged when the seat backrest is folded
back.

Make sure that the seat belt is not trap-
ped when folding back the seat backrest.

Move the driver's or front passenger seat for-
wards, if necessary.
#
Swivel seat backrest 1 back until it engages.
If the seat backrest is not engaged and locked
in place, red lock verification indicator 2 will
be visible.
