the sliding sunroof.

when a roof rack is fitted
When a roof rack is fitted, raising or opening
the sliding sunroof may be limited.

Check whether the sliding sunroof can
be raised or opened when a roof rack is
fitted.

If in doubt, do not raise or open the
sliding sunroof.

To start automatic operation: press the

button beyond the point of resistance
or pull and release it.

To interrupt automatic operation: briefly
press the
3
button in any direction.
The opening/closing process will be stop‐
ped.
Automatic reversing function of the sliding
sunroof
If there is an object obstructing the sliding sun‐
roof during the closing process, the sliding sun‐
roof will open again automatically. The automatic
reversing function is only an aid and is not a sub‐
stitute for your attentiveness.

When closing, make sure that no body parts
are in the closing area.

WARNING Risk of entrapment even with
the reversing feature active
The reverse function does not react in partic‐
ular:
