An incorrectly attached roof rack or an incorrect
roof load can become detached from the vehicle.
It is essential to comply with the roof rack manu‐
facturer's installation instructions.

Carefully remove the covers 1 in the direc‐
tion of the arrow with the disassembly tool.
#
Attach the roof rack at the securing points
2 .
#
Comply with the roof rack manufacturer's
installation instructions.
#
Secure the load on the roof rack.
Cup holders
Fitting the cup holder in or removing it from
the centre console
& WARNING ‑ Risk of accident or injury
when using the cup holder while the
vehicle is in motion
The cup holder cannot hold a container
secure while the vehicle is in motion.
If you use a cup holder while the vehicle is in
motion, the container may be flung around
and liquids could be spilled. The vehicle
occupants may come into contact with the
liquid and if it is hot, they could be scalded.
You could be distracted from traffic condi‐
tions and you may lose control of the vehicle.

Only use the cup holder when the vehi‐
cle is stationary.
#
Only use the cup holder for containers
of the right size.
#
Always close the container, particularly
if the liquid is hot.
#
To remove: slide the catch 2 forwards and
pull out the cup holder 1 .
#
To fit: insert the cup holder 1 and slide
back the catch 2 .
% The cup holder rubber mat can be removed
for cleaning, e.g. using clean, lukewarm
water.
