in th e “ m a x .” p o s itio n , th e an ­
te n n a e x te n d s fu lly,
• if th e a n te n n a s w itc h is engaged
in th e “ o f f ” p o s itio n , th e a n te n ­
na w ill n o t e xte n d o r w ill re tra ct
co m p le te ly .
The h e ig h t o f th e a n te n n a can be
a d ju ste d to any in te rm e d ia te p o si­
tio n by a c tu a tin g th e a n tenna
s w itc h :
• If th e a n te n n a s w itc h is in ce n te r
p o s itio n , th e a n te n n a w ill extend
to m e d iu m h e ig h t. The antenna
can be fu rth e r e xte n d e d o r re­
tra c te d to any h e ig h t by ro c k in g
th e s w itc h (n o t e n g a g in g it).
• If th e a n te n n a is to be re tracted,
e.g. fo r p la yin g cassettes, en ­
gage s w itc h in “ o ff" p o s itio n .
W hen th e key is tu rn e d to ste e rin g
lo c k p o s itio n 0 o r th e radio is
tu rn e d off, th e a n te n n a w ill re tra ct
co m p le te ly.
