Any FM s ta tio n fre q u e n c y in d ic a te d
on th e d ig ita l d isp la y can be stored
on any b u tto n m arked E G th ro u g h
n n by d e p re ssin g th e b u tto n de ­
sired and h o ld in g it u n til th e d is p la y
has cha n g e d fro m th e “ o ld " s e ttin g
to a “ b la n k " and th e n to th e new
fre q u e n c y to be stored.
S h o w in g th e “ o ld ” s e ttin g firs t
a llo w s fo r re c o n s id e ra tio n o f th e de­
cis io n to sto re . If it is d e sira b le to
leave th e “ o ld " fre q u e n c y in m em ­
ory ra th e r th a n e x c h a n g in g it w ith
th e “ n e w ” one, q u ic k ly release the
b u tto n . T he “ o ld " fre q u e n c y w ill re­
m ain in m em ory.

cle a r re c e p tio n if a w eak sig n a l is
received. A sp e cia l c irc u it p ro vid e s

th a n a hard su d d e n s w itc h in g ,
th e re b y re d u c in g noise and
in te rfe re n c e .
The ste re o in d ic a to r w ill rem ain lit

T ape C assette playback
It is re co m m e n d e d to use o n ly g o o d
q u a lity cassettes w ith a pla yb ack
tim e o f n o t m ore th a n 60 to 90 m i­
n u te s (C 60) o r (C 90).
To s ta rt playback, in se rt a cassette
(tape side firs t, side “ I” o r “ A ” fa c ­
ing up) th ro u g h th e cassette d oor.
Push th e cassette in u n til it is lo c k ­
ed in its p la y in g p o s itio n .
W hen th e end o f one p la y in g side is
reached, th e u n it s w itch e s a u to m a t­
ic a lly to reverse fo r p la yin g th e sec­
o n d tra ck.
The tape tra c k can be selected by
d e p re ssin g th e cassette tra c k
s w itc h b u tto n f » n s i l . The b u ilt-in
in d ic a to rs s h o w w h ic h tra c k o f the
cassette th e u n it is p la yin g back.
