23. EARTH / GROUND CONNECTION For operator safety it is mandatory that the SG32-
1500M is efficiently earthed/grounded. Failure to
do so could result in serious injury or in extreme
circumstances death.
NOTE: Always apply the
Single Point
Grounding
method; that means that the
earthing / safety ground lead of the SG32-
1500M is connected to the system ground of
the switchgear or the transformer, where also
the HV test lead is connected. The concentric
neutral of the tested cable must be also bonded
to the very same system ground.

WARNING
NEVER drive a separate ground rod /
earth rod and connect the earthing /
safety ground lead of the SG32-1500M
to it!
