Service Manual - medifa 8000
Before replacing the hydraulic cylinder for the lateral shifting, the table top has to be taken off. For further help
please see
Chapter III. „Removing the Table Top“.
Also remove the crusting protector and loosen the expansion bellows, as stated in
Chapter IV. “Removing the
Crusting protector“
and
Chapter VI. „ Loosening the Expansion Bellows“.
Additionally, put off the column cover and separate the way-
measurement system from the cylinder. For further help, plea-
se see
Chapter V .„ Removing the Column Cover“
and
Chap-
ter X. „Replacement of the Way Measurement System“.
Do as follows
Remove the four screws which fix the base plate to the arti-
culated frame of the lift column.
Attention:
The plate, e.g. the whole upper structure, is lying on the
articulated frame of the column, only fixed to the base
frame by tubes and cables.
As soon as the plate is unscrewed it can be slightly moved (a
few centimetres) with care, so that the screws of the suspen-
sion of the lateral cylinder will be visible.
Unscrew the two fastening screws which connects the outer
cheek of the upper suspension of the lateral cylinder to the
articulated frame.
Remove the snap ring at the end of the bolt and pull the
cheek from the bolt.
Take care of the inserts of the eye screw, which fixes the cy-
linder to the bolt.
It might lead to an unwanted instability of the table, should
they get lost.
Note:
Take care of the little bolt of the pulled off cheek of the sus-
pension. This little bolt should fit into the groove of the insert
of the bolt, to hold it in position!
