URPOSE
.
Medex
warrants to the purchaser that the
Medfusion 3500
Syringe Infusion Pump shall be free from defects
in material and workmanship for the period of one (1) year from the date of purchase.
Medex’
sole
obligation with respect to any such defect is limited to the repair, or at
Medex’
option, replacement of the
Syringe Infusion Pump. The Purchaser shall pay return freight charges.
This limited warranty is made on the condition that prompt notification of a defect is given to
Medex
, within
the warranty period, and that
Medex
shall have the sole right to determine whether a defect exists.
This limited warranty does not apply to Syringe Infusion Pumps that have been partially or completely
disassembled, altered, subjected to misuse, negligence, or accident; or operated other than in accordance to
the instructions provided within this manual.
While under this limited warranty,
Medex
recommends that personnel other than Medex service personnel
shall not open the pump. Service by unauthorized personnel shall void this limited warranty.
This limited warranty represents the exclusive obligation of
Medex
, and the exclusive remedy of the
purchaser regarding defects in a Syringe Infusion Pump.
No person is authorized to modify, in any manner,
Medex’
obligation as described above.
Medex
reserves the right to make changes in or additions to pumps manufactured and/or sold by
Medex
at
any time, without incurring any obligation to make the same or similar changes on pumps previously
manufactured or sold by
Medex
.
