CLEANING AND STERILISATION
Rinse the inner channel of the scaler
handpiece using a 20 ml syringe
previously filled with a new enzymatic
solution. Repeat twice;

Remove the handpiece, nose cone, and
light pipe from the enzymatic solution
and gently brush their surfaces using a
brush with soft nylon bristles under hot
(40 °C ± 5 °C) running water, for at least
10 minutes;

Fill the ultrasonic tank with the enzymatic
detergent solution prepared according to
the manufacturer’s instructions.
Use water at ambient temperature (22 °C
±2 °C);

Place the scaler handpiece, nose cone,
and light pipe in the ultrasonic tank
immersed in the enzymatic detergent
solution at 22 °C ±2 °C and run a cycle
for at least 10 minutes;
